In a landmark ruling, the Dubai Court of First Instance has recognised that cryptocurrency is a valid form of salary payment, overturning a 2023 decision finding the opposite.

The case came after a worker filed a lawsuit against their former employer asking for unpaid wages and compensation for wrongful termination.
