A European Parliamentary Committee report, published last December, has called on the EU Commission to once again reform the European Works Councils Directive.

On 30 November, MEPs on the Employment and Social Affairs Committee voted in favour of a host of potential changes to the 1994 regulations, which were last updated in 2009.
