A solicitor previously employed by a UK bank has been awarded £1.1m by an employment tribunal after a finding last year that she had been unfavourably treated due to a disability.

Gulnaz Raja, a qualified solicitor who worked as a deputy company secretary at Starling Bank, sued her former employer after being fired at the start of the pandemic.
