China’s migrant garment workers supplying clothing for Singapore-headquartered online retailer Shein are still working more than 75 hours a week, according to a new report released this week.

Public Eye on Monday claimed that Shein is still demanding excessive working patterns of its suppliers in China. This is despite promises to improve conditions back in 2021 after the Swiss advocacy group first investigated the company’s compliance with local labour laws.
