Rio Tinto says it is making progress tackling unacceptable workplace behaviour as more workers are now willing to speak up about their experiences, leading to the number of official complaints received nearly doubling in recent months.

Earlier this year, the international mining giant published the results of an independent review that found sexual harassment and assault were rife throughout its operations.
