After years of legal battles, the Irish Supreme Court has ruled that Domino’s delivery drivers should be treated as employees, not contractors.
The case stemmed from delivery drivers under contract in 2010 and 2011 by Karshan (Midlands) Ltd, trading as Domino’s Pizza. The drivers were treated as employees for tax purposes, with Karshan listing them as independent contractors under “contracts for service”.
