Despite many companies’ improved commitments to D&I, race and gender discrimination is on the rise in the US technology sector, according to a new study.
In a survey of nearly 2,500 tech professionals, 24% of respondents said they experienced racial discrimination in 2022 — up from 18% in 2021. The percentage of workers who said they experienced gender discrimination also increased, from 21% in 2021 to 26% in 2022.
