In an eye-watering damages decision, a Royal Mail employee has been awarded more than £2m by a UK tribunal that found she had been subjected to intimidation and harassment after blowing the whistle on alleged fraud.

Filing a complaint eight years ago with the London Central Employment Tribunal, Kam Jhuti, a media specialist, claimed she had been subjected to a long-running campaign of harassment by her superior, which left her with severe depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
