Menopause at work: the UK’s new diversity and inclusion frontier
The issue of menopause in the workplace has grown in prominence in recent years, with menopausal women currently the fastest-growing demographic in the workforce. The Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) has highlighted that nearly eight-in-ten menopausal women are in work and suggests it is critical that staff are supported to stay well and thrive in the workplace during what can be a difficult and lengthy transition.
