Robert Lewis, a founding partner and former chairman of US law firm Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, has resigned from his position following the departure of over 100 employment and labour-based lawyers earlier this week.

The firm has disbanded its executive committee and will establish a newly expanded 13-member management committee following elections on 9 May, according to a statement by co-chairman Bob Smith.
