More than seven-in-ten of the global workforce is currently exposed to risks linked to climate change, according to a new report released by the International Labour Organization (ILO) on Monday  to coincide with Earth Day.

“It’s clear that climate change is already creating significant additional health hazards for workers,” said Manal Azzi, the ILO’s occupational safety and health (OSH) team lead.
