Ecuador has recently implemented several new labour policies aimed at protecting workers’ rights and promoting gender equality. These policies include the Ministerial Agreement for Labour Disconnection Policy (MALDP), which establish clear guidelines for telework arrangements; and the “Violet Law”, which seeks to prevent and eradicate gender-based violence.
