A Home Depot policy banning employees from drawing the Black Lives Matter slogan on their aprons violates federal law, a majority of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has ruled.

Antonio Morales, an employee of colour at a Minnesota store, filed a complaint against the home improvement company in March 2021, after allegedly being suspended, and later resigning, for having the “BLM” acronym hand-written on his uniform.
