Morgan Lewis has welcomed back John Ring as a partner in Washington DC after more than four years at the National Labor Relations Board.

The firm will be hoping that Ring’s experience with congressional oversight will provide clients with a unique perspective of matters involving Capitol Hill and other government entities.

Appointed by former-President Donald Trump, Ring became NLRB chair in April 2018 after nearly 30 years of practice at Morgan Lewis. He served as chair of the government agency until January 2021 and then as a board member until December 2022.
