After inclement weather across the UAE over the weekend, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has been urging private companies to allow employees to work from home.

“Necessary measures need to be taken by companies to ensure outdoor work, if necessary, and comply with occupational health and safety requirements,” said the ministry, which has already allowed many public employees to work from home in response to the heavy rain last week.
