Juan Calvente, former counsel and head of Clifford Chance’s labour practice in Spain, has joined Simmons & Simmons in Madrid.

Calvente moved to Simmons as counsel on 3 October after 26 years at the magic circle firm. He will now work closely with Eduardo Peñacoba, Simmons’ country head and leader of the firm’s Madrid employment practice.
