Does an employer have a right to access their employees’ personal IT devices to assess work-related performance? Article 11/A, inserted into the Hungarian Labor Code in 2019, expressly authorises employers to inspect their employees’ work-related conduct by reviewing their devices, but only if the worker is informed in writing about the possibility of such inspections.
