Nadia González Mexico Nadia co-leads Galicia’s Labor and Employment practice. She started the practice in September 2018 after working for several leading national law firms in Mexico. During her + 20 year career, she has advised on workplace and human capital issues to in-house attorneys and HR professionals, guiding employers through the ever-changing landscape of Mexican labor law. She is noted for her role advising on the labor component of corporate deals and employment consultancy, providing tailor-made solutions to complex problems. She received an LL.M. from Columbia University in New York (2013), and earned her Law degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (1998). Chambers and Partners ranks her as Band 2 in Labor & Employment (Monterrey) and Band 4 in the same practice at national level (Mexico). She is recognized by WWL as a “Thought Leader” in the Labor practice. Nadia is active in the Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados, Nuevo León Inn, where she chairs the Employment Law Committee. She performs as Subdirector of the Labor Committee of the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry (INDEX) and was recently appointed as member of the Group of Experts of the Labor, Social Security and Human Resources Committee of Mexican Confederation of Industrial Chambers (CONCAMIN). She has always advocated for gender equality and the empowerment of women. Nadia is member of the Galicia’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and the ESG practice at the firm.
