Emanuela Nespoli practises employment law and is a Partner at the law firm, Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo e Soci, one of the leading Italian firms specialising in employment law, industrial relations, and commercial agency agreements.

Emanuela read law at the University of Milan, graduating magna cum laude in 1993. She has been practising law since 1996, when she qualified into the Italian Bar, and has held rights of audience in the Italian Supreme Court since 2010. Emanuela is specialised in employment law, restructuring, industrial relations and commercial agency agreements, is the Chair of the firm’s «Flexit» team dedicated to assisting companies with early retirement programmes, as well as the Co-chair of the firm’s company restructuring team.

Emanuela is also highly active in the legal field, on both a national and international level. She is the Chair of the Ius Laboris Pay & Benefits Expert Group and is the Vice President of the Lombardy Regional Chapter of the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI, Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani).

Emanuela has received continuous recognition throughout the years from both national and international legal directories such as The Legal 500, which has named Emanuela a Leading Individual for Labour & Employment Law in Italy every year since 2018; Chambers and Partners Europe, which continues to rank Emanuela annualy for Employment in Italy (Band 2); Who’s Who Legal for Labour, Employment & Benefits (Thought Leader in 2020) and Best Lawyers. Emanuela has also been a finalist for various awards over the years, including at the Expert Guides Euromoney European Women in Business Law Awards, Legalcommunity Labour Awards, and Toplegal Awards.
