Two American trucking firms will pay $460,000 (£368,000) to settle a long-running sexual orientation and retaliation lawsuit, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has confirmed.

The federal lawsuit against TA Dedicated and Transportation Enterprise Services, subsidiaries of Canada’s TFI International, claimed that workers and supervisors at a facility in North Jackson, Ohio harassed two mechanics because they are gay.
