Multinational businesses are coming under increasing pressure to address alleged union busting in their Turkish operations and supply chains.

Nearly 85% of Turkey’s 16 million workers lack union representation, according to the country’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security. But campaigners fear that union membership will fall even further given the reported use of intimidation and harassment to suppress workers’ rights.
