This week a British research and technology centre announced it will implement a four-day week, following a large-scale, two-year trial that saw its employees report higher productivity. The news came as thousands of workers in dozens of businesses across Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Spain, the US, and UK take part in six-month pilots assessing the impact of shortened working weeks on employee wellbeing and productivity.
