President Joe Biden’s campaign promise to be “the most pro-union president” in US history certainly set alarm bells ringing in America’s business community, which had benefited from four years of business-friendly policies. Although a host of pro-labour policies in the president’s first 100 days initially kept the labour movement happy, relations between the administration and union leaders have cooled a little since.
