As the United States emerges from the covid-19 pandemic, agribusiness companies’ operations are ramping up hiring to meet their workforce needs. While of course agribusiness companies recruit locally to fill these positions, for many of these agricultural roles, there are more positions available than there are local workers available to fill them, which can leave companies short-staffed. Further, given the sophisticated nature of agricultural operations, many agribusiness positions require university-level education given the complex nature of the processes.
