China’s zero-covid policy and Russian aggression in Ukraine threaten the global labour market’s post-pandemic recovery, the International Labour Organization has warned.

The latest ILO “World of Work” report found the number of hours worked globally in the first quarter of 2022 dropped 3.8% below the fourth quarter of 2019, the pre-crisis benchmark.
