As China’s zero-covid strategy of mass testing, surveillance, and strict lockdowns faces international criticism, some European employers are reconsidering their position in the country.

Since the start of the pandemic, China has attempted to keep covid-19 at bay by imposing increasingly draconian measures on its populace. Authorities have now invoked full or partial lockdowns in at least 45 cities nationwide, including Shanghai and Beijing.
