The team is well placed to act on employment issues flowing from business-critical operations, from market exits to M&A operations. This was evidenced in its advice in 2021 to a global freight-forwarding company on its workforce restructuring and benefits realignment after an acquisition, impacting nearly 100 employees.

Van Geyzel also assisted a global technology company with a workforce restructuring involving more than 300 members of staff. The advice spanned employee transfers, mutual separations, and termination agreements.

Expertise extends to sensitive internal investigations relating to disciplinary issues and includes those that impact various jurisdictions.
