As part of this, the department boasts extensive experience in assisting with restructuring and transformation processes – from initial strategy through to post-merger support, including voluntary redundancy schemes, outsourcing, and integration and harmonisation procedures, as well as negotiations with works councils.

The firm also offers a dedicated top management practice, which can advise on the gamut of issues impacting the c-suite, from contracts and remuneration through to contentious issues.

Further areas of advice include collective bargaining and flexible collective pay agreements.

Contentious work for the team includes litigation over breaches of duty, and on related directors and officers (D&O) insurance. The team regularly represents clients before conciliation bodies and labour courts.
